This project is open source under the MIT License, because it is built on top of Bloxstrap, which is itself MIT-licensed (© pizzaboxer, 2022). The MIT terms carry forward to every derivative file in this repository. The full text lives in LICENSE, and the specific upstream notices live in NOTICE.md.

In short: you may use, modify, and redistribute it, including commercially, provided you keep the copyright and permission notices.

02Bloxstrap heritage

Lurelock is a rebranded, standalone build of the Bloxstrap codebase with Lurelock branding, icons, and distribution. Large parts of the code — the installers, the Roblox bootstrapping logic, the WPF user interface, and the FastFlag/mods/theme systems — are originally Bloxstrap code used under the MIT license with attribution. The Lurelock name and mark are separate, and belong to this project.

03Trademarks

This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox and Roblox Studio are trademarks of Roblox Corporation. The Lurelock name and mark are not licensed for other products.

04No claims

The software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Nothing on this site is a promise that Lurelock is safe to use with any particular account, client, or version of Roblox. Using it is your decision and your risk — which is exactly why every safety boundary in the project is written down as a limitation, not a guarantee.
